Are Nice Guys Actually Good Men?

I got this MySpace bulletin from one of my readers. To set one thing straight, my reader only passed on the bulletin, she didn't write it, and it doesn't necessarily reflect her personal views per se. Anyway, I posted the bulletin below:

I don't have a huge bank account
to buy you expensive things

I like to spend quality nights at home
cuddling with you, instead of at a club

I would rather make love to you then just f**k you
like some random guy.

That I am always the one you need to talk to,
but never good enough to date

I'm sorry
That I always held your hair back when you threw up, and didn't get mad at you for puking in my car,
but when we went out you went home with another guy

I'm sorry
That I am there to pick you up at 4am when your new man hit you and dropped you off in the middle of nowhere,
but not good enough to listen to me when I need a friend

I'm sorry
If I start not being there, and being used as a door mat, only to be thrown to the side when the new asshole comes around

I'm sorry If I don't answer my phone anymore when you call, to listen to you cry for hours, instead of getting a couple hours of sleep before work

I'm sorry that you can't realize.. I've been the one all along.

That I talked to you for nine hours on Thanksgiving when your bf was threatening you instead of spending time with my family.

that I listen to you at night talk about how you wish you could have done something different.

Ladies always bitch and bitch to their friends that there is never any good guys out there, and they always end up with assholes who mistreat them. Well ladies next time you're bitching, maybe look up to see who you're bitching to, maybe that special someone is right there hanging on your every word as usual, screaming in his head "Why won't you give me a chance?" Because the person you are usually searching for is right by you.

If You're one of the few girls with enough balls to repost, and you would never make your guy feel this way, repost as "To all the girls who look past the nice guys."

As you can see, this bulletin had to be written by a scorned man/nice guy. Just go to any internet message board, or any radio topic dealing with nice guys and women dynamic and you'll trip over a heated discussion regarding nice guys getting the shaft. I've been on a couple of these kinds of shows myself, and there's always the complaint that nice guys finish last, or that women have total disregard for a nice guy. Then those claims are always followed with "you women claim that there's no good men out here, yet you don't show the nice guy any love. There's nice guys walking around everywhere!"

Fellas, that's where the problem lies. You notice that women never say that "there's no more nice guys out here." They always say that a good man is hard to find. "Wait a minute Chi-Town! Isn't a nice guy a good guy?" Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, a nice guy doesn't come close to being a good man. In his book and podcast, he explains what nice really means all the way down to the root word.

Just know that its not in a man's nature to be nice. Women are not attracted to nice. Sounds crazy doesn't it? Believe it or not, I'm going to side with the women on this. Why? Because a nice guy is not a good guy! As a matter of fact, a nice guy is worse than the thugs that nice guys player hate on over women. The reason being is that a nice guy is really being manipulative in the first place. Nice guys only buy dinner, flowers, engage in mindless small talk on first dates only because they think that its going to get their foot in the door with these women; in other words they think these nice deeds are going to get rewarded with some pussy. The nice guy never tells the woman what his true intentions are because he feels that doing so will drive the woman away from him. Here's where the thug or the bad boy make up for his other deficiencies in life. This so-called bad guy will be straightforward with women regarding his intentions. He'll tell her that he wants to fuck her brains out. The nice guy on the other hand will only pretend that he wants to get to know her, but in reality he wants to fuck her brains out too.

Let me tell you something; women are attracted to honesty and straightforwardness, even if that means seeking it out in a guy who really doesn't have much going for himself outside of his success with women. This is the real reason that nice guys finish last, because women can smell their bullshit and hidden agendas a mile away. See a nice guy wants to buy and lie his way into a woman's panties, whereas a bad boy will communicate his true desires to the woman upfront and he'll give her only two choices: let me tear that pussy up or let me go to the next woman.

So who is this good man that the ladies want? I'll save the answer for a future radio show.
